Islamic Unity : Sleeping Scholars

September 2nd, 2008 admin Posted in Politics | No Comments »

The 21st International Conference on Islamic Unity was held this past May in Iran. More than 850 Scholars and intellectuals from 45 countries, including  GCC member states, India, Algeria, Hong Kong and Gambia to name only a few, attended the conference. The theme was how to unite Muslims and discuss solutions for current problems existing in the Muslim World, like the continuation of the perpetrated Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Authors from around the World also submitted approximately 70 penned articles.

Sleeping Scholars

The aims for the conference were high, as the Secretary-General of the World Assembly for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Mohammad-Ali Taskhiri told reporters prior, “Preparing grounds for unity and solidarity of the Muslim World and bringing closer various cultural and scientific views are major goals of the conference.

The participants are also to promote coexistence and find ways out of current obstacles including the enemies’ plots and secular thoughts. The Islamic unity charter which has so far been signed by over 2,000 Muslim thinkers and scholars will be studied by the delegates.”

The event, however, was overshadowed by a serious case of either exhaustion or sheer boredom as several of the attendees were overcome with sleep as  their heads slumped over in a deep slumber during various presentations.

Well united we are but … sleeping united

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari - a new future or???

September 1st, 2008 admin Posted in Politics | 1 Comment »

Look at these pictures…

Bilawal Zardari

Bilawal Zardari

This is the future leader of Pakistan…

The 20-year-old’s preparation for his role in one of the world’s strictest Muslim states has certainly been unconventional.

Muslims will be surprised to see the new leader of the Pakistani People’s Party with his arms slung casually around two girls, one of whom declares herself as “bisexual” on a social networking website.

It had been estimated that Bilawal’s security at Oxford will cost at least one million pounds each year.

Poor country … the rest is upto you …

Aafia Siddiqui

September 1st, 2008 admin Posted in Politics | No Comments »

Aafia Siddiqui is a MIT and Brandeis alumna, originally from Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. In 2004, she was accused by the United States Government of being “associated with al-Qaeda.” In March 2003, Siddiqui went missing along with her three children.

The truth is; in 2003 she was captured from Karachi while travelling in a taxi along with her three young children Maryam, Ahmed and Suleman and kept missing until recently when we heard the prisoner no 650 and gray lady of Bagram …

According to her sister Fouzia Siddiqui “The government had been in contact with us during the last five years and has been saying that Dr Aafia would be back in a few days. Now we have been told that all the three children were fine but looking at Aafia’s condition we fear that the children might be in danger.”

Reports suggest that she was tortured and raped, while in Bagram, one of her kidneys was removed, her teeth were removed, her nose was broken and her recent gun shot wound was oozing blood constantly. The News of Pakistan reports that Siddiqui’s health is very frail, over and above her recent gun-shot wound.

Her story of transformation from this:

A picture speaks a thousand words … We have lost unity, we can’t fight for our brothers and sisters and we are selling women and children for money, this is the reason why muslims are suffering. There was a time when Muhammad bin Qasim would fight on the call of a sister and today we are selling our brothers and sisters to Christians and Jews … Shame on me … all of us are responsible for our misery …

Hamza Walker Lindh

September 1st, 2008 admin Posted in Politics | No Comments »

Do you know who is Hamza Walker Lindh?

John Phillip Walker Lindh (born February 9, 1981) is an American who was captured during the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan while fighting there for the Taliban. He was subsequently sentenced to twenty years in prison, which he is currently serving.

Lindh prefers to go by the name Hamza Walker Lindh today.

His transformation from this:

In 1997, John Lindh officially converted to Islam and began regularly attending mosques in Mill Valley and later San Francisco. On December 25, 2001 Lindh was captured in Afghanistan and taken into custody. During this custody he was mistreated, stripped and restrained to a stretcher. It was later discovered that he had initially been wounded (with a bullet in his upper right thigh) and hidden for a week with limited food, water, and minimal sleep before being captured. After being captured and taken to a room with a single, sealed-off window, Lindh reportedly had his clothes cut off him and was duct-taped to a stretcher and placed in a metal shipping container for transportation. Lindh was reportedly not allowed release from the stretcher when he needed to urinate. While being interrogated, Lindh allegedly was repeatedly denied access to a lawyer and was threatened with denial of medical aid if he did not cooperate. Lindh was held for over a week in U.S. custody before his wound was treated and the bullet removed.

The court scheduled an evidence suppression hearing, at which Lindh would have been able to testify about the details of the torture to which he claimed he was subjected. The government faced the problem that a key piece of evidence — Lindh’s confession — might be excluded from evidence as having been forced under duress.

To forestall this possibility, US department of justice offered Lindh a bargain and now he is serving 20 years imprisonment without parole in FCI, Terre Haute in Terre Haute, Indiana.

His story brings out the true picture of uncle SAM … I don’t know when will the muslim countries understand and stop helping Jews in their fight against Muslims…
